1. Move to China: I never even wanted to VISIT China
2. Be fluent in another language: I struggled through a couple of years of French in High School, tried my hand at a little Hebrew in college but never knew I'd be fluent in another language, let alone one as crazy as Turkish
3. Enjoy riding a scooter to work I cried when Josh made me ride with him **and wrecked** a motorcycle on our honeymoon. Now I'm the proud owner owner of a great little scooter of my own and I ride it in CHINESE TRAFFIC. (with a helmut, mom!)
4. Be a Mac Girl: But it's true, "Once you go Mac, you'll never go back." Hmmmm.... wonder if Apple would pay me for that slogan?
5. Raise my kids in an apartment: maybe one day we'll be in a house....sigh....
6. Love Liturgy: I never wanted to be "stuck" repeating other people's words. Man, I had no idea....
7. Spend time in Africa: another country (okay, continent) not on my "must see" list but I'm so glad we've spent as much time in South Africa as we have. I sure do miss it (and Niel and Alece, and Thrive Africa...)
8. Teach at a University: Write a book? YES! (no I haven't) Get a Master's Degree? YES (no I haven't....yet) Teach at a university? Never thought so!
Hmmmm.... there you go. That's a start anyway. What's on your list??
(*This is from Chana, by the way)
What a great list! An adventurous life to be sure. I've had my own list going in the back of my head for some time, too--maybe I'll blog about it later this week. Love you and have a great day (night!). Wish I could see you on that scooter! (Have Josh take some footage)

I like your list. It is like the opposite of a bucket list (of which I am not a fan).
The move to China thing is one of them. I always hoped if I had an expat life it would be somewhere that had better coffee, like Rome or somewhere.
Another one for me is bake and bake often. My mom hated baking anything--cookies, cakes, pies, etc. In fact, I have never seen her bake muffins. I don't know if it was because of the mess or because she liked being skinny, but I grew up with little in the way of baked goods in our home. Now that I have kids, any day is a good day for muffins or bread or a pie or something like that, even here in China (though it is kinda expensive hobby here).

Thanks for the post! I wonder what search engine you use to find the desired film? I use rapidshare SE ( http://www.filecatch.com/trends/no/12-08-2010.html ), and you?
